Interactive Apple Book

Interactive Enablement for Enterprise iOS Deployment

What I Built

I designed and authored an interactive Apple Book as a performance support resource for IT administrators deploying and managing iOS devices at scale across enterprise and education environments.

Note: You must have a Mac or iOS device with the Apple Books app to view the book.

This project transformed previously static PDF documentation into a modular, non-linear experience aligned to real-world usage. Instead of forcing a linear read, the six-chapter guide allows users to jump directly to tasks such as provisioning, configuration, security, and troubleshooting—supporting faster, on-the-job problem solving.

To improve clarity and usability, I incorporated embedded videos, step-by-step visual guides, and interactive elements to simplify complex workflows and reduce ambiguity.

I led the end-to-end design and development, partnering with an editor and graphic designer. The solution was built using iBooks Author, with supporting content created in Adobe Captivate, Keynote, and Camtasia.

The book was published on the Apple Books Store and achieved a 4.5/5 rating, reflecting strong user adoption and value as a practical enablement resource.

While iBooks Author has since been discontinued, I would build this today using Articulate Rise to deliver a similarly interactive, responsive experience.
